Recessed low voltage halogen IP65 90 minute recessed fire & acoustic rated ceiling showerlight with an integrated intumescent
material that completely seals the downlight and cut out in the event of a fire.
The fitting can be used in bathroom ceilings zones 1 & 2 where water jets are likely as per IEE Wiring Regulations.
Suitable for 30 and 60 & 90 minute fire rated ceilings, tested to BS476 part 21 and in compliance with the Building
Regulations Approved Document B - Fire Safety.
Also acoustic tested to confirm that they maintain the ability to provide sound insulation between floors.
Simple and versatile installation, no different to a standard downlight with removable front cover for ease of lamp replacement.
The 50 or 35 watt aluminium backed lamps that must be used with these fittings along with a 20 to 60VA
dimmable electronic leaded transformer are listed in the accessories below.
These are high quality cast aluminium fittings available in three finishes.
